Peter Eastgate and his WSOP 2008 bracelet
Recently the 2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate announced that he will sell his WSOP bracelet and will donate the funds to UNICEF, hoping to help a good cause.
Later on, Tony G shocked the poker community with his intention to buy the bracelet and turn it into a dog collar for his German shepherd. Many found this to be a disrespectful act, others laughed hard at Tony G’s weird sense of humor, and some even saw in this a certain strategy; fact is, we are all curious to see whether Tony G’s dog Zasko will be wearing the bracelet on his collar.
Currently the highest bid is $56,800.00 but there are still over two days left until the end of the auction and the price is expected to rise even more. Is Tony G the highest bidder? We’ll have to wait and see.
